The double raid on California's finances
No one in the state government will take action.
No one in media will take action.
We are being robbed blind by thieves and con artists
but no one in government seems to care.
Maybe there is a message there.
Enough gold to save the economy for the State of California is being heisted my U.S. Senator Feinstein. Feinstein is on the Governator's transition team. Hmmmm ...
The California State government is keeping two sets of books. Of interest here is the set called CAFR, now AFR. A qualified source maintains that enough money is being hidden to more than bail out the state's indebtedness. Who is benefitting from this plunder?
Yet in spite of this, at the bidding of our new governator, the people of California just approved more bonded indebtedness than the amount that got Gray Davis booted out. Go figure on that one.
It will take Governor Schwarzenegger two years to pull this one off. All we can do at this time is wait and watch. Rather than with loud fanfare, the changes may occur silently.
One indicator will be the mass exodus of tax-base-creating corporations. If they remain and new ones come to this state, the problem has been turned around. If not, we have lost it - big time.
Of interest here is the fact that more tax-base-creating people have been leaving than welfare-seeking immigrants have been arriving. And I am talking millions, folks. Check the census for that one.
It will take Lee Iacocca to put California, with its new bonded indebtedness, back on its feet. I doubt if Arnold Schwarzenegger is any Lee Iacocca. Time will tell.
Meantime, the Twin Heist continues, but neither government nor media will act.
Oh, well ...
