While you are working or volunteering in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District here are some very important issues that you must remember:
You are working with children.
Do not touch children,
Do not flirt with children,
Do not hug children,
Never socialize with children
or think of them as your friends,
Never be alone with a single child.
Try to be very careful with what you say
and how you say it. Children can
interpret innocent comments in not so
innocent ways.
In spite of appearance, behavior,
maturity, intelligence or apparent
sophistication, the young people in
these schools are simply and legally
only children.
