Constitutionality - Don't let that big word scare you. It is rather simple, actually, and it is on our side. But a discussion and understanding of Constitution, constitutionality and unconstitutional is needed here.
Constitution refers to the Constitution of the United States, the document that guarantees our republican form of government with our freedoms and American way of life. The Constitution is the supreme law of our land. It is etched in stone. The Constitution describes the only permitted amendment process. Treaties can NOT alter the Constitution. If we allow flagrant violation of our Constitution, we will lose its control, and with that loss we will lose our government, meaning our country.
Unconstitutional refers to anything that violates the Constitution. The violation is referred to as constitutional, meaning illegal.
Constitutionality simply refers to discussions of issues pertaining to the Constitution. For example, “Is it constitutional?” That question asks if it violates the Constitution.
Simple, basic facts about our Constitution are in order. Perhaps our most serious enemy is misunderstanding. So, let's clear up a few things right here and now.
First and foremost, the Constitution is a limiting document and was very clearly intended to be that way by our Founding Fathers, the Guys who wrote it. The Constitution tells the federal government what it CAN do. The Constitution does NOT tell the federal government what it can NOT do. Put simply, our Constitution authorizes our elected public servants to do certain things. They are NOT authorized to do anything else. If they do, they violate the Constitution with unconstitutional acts.
If you will remember that paragraph, you will understand.
So when punks like C2G (Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton) go around stating that the Constitution is a “living document” that can be altered at their whims, they violating law nearly to the extent of treason, which is punishable by death.
It may be safe to say that 99 percent of our federal laws are unconstitutional. Therefore, if the President and Congress were prosecuted for all their unconstitutional acts, there would soon be only about twenty people left in Congress and the White House. The best and most effective way for us to make that correction is at the ballot box. We MUST vote the offenders out of office.
The United States of America was never intended to be a democracy. The Founding Fathers (the Guys who wrote and installed our Constitution) knew well that democracy was a form of government that feeds on itself, destroying itself from within. Democracy, socialism, communism and fascism all share a trait in common: They all deteriorate into totalitarianism, which is a police state, which is a dictatorship. The Bejing government of Communist Red China is a perfect example.
A very simple sentence for you to remember is:
“Where in the Constitution do you find authorization?”
Ask your Congress Critters that. It is needed. Remind them that treaties can NOT alter the Constitution, nor can anyone use a treaty to get around the Constitution.
