Many of you have written to inquire where the on-going Sheriff Matthews homicide investigation stands at present. That is the subject of this report.
The 12 police officers who assembled, on your behalf August 1987, in Arkansas, (from 9 various states,) have not given up the battle to get a valid investigation into our brother's death.
As you know our initial unofficial police inquiry at that time found very substantial evidence that the deaths of Sheriff Matthews and the person alleged to be fugitive Kahl were committed by federal officials at the scene. This completely contradicts the official story of the Government. (See page 15 for ACLA Police report "Matthews - Kahl Final Report 1987" for details of our initial investigation.
