Sir: Upon the recommendation of the Major General Command- ing the Army, as being no longer required for military purposes, and at the instance of the honorable the Secretary of the Interior, I have the honor to recommend that the military reservation of Fort Mojave, Arizona, be transferred and turned over to the Department of the Interior for Indian school purposes, under the act of July 31, 1882, entitled "An act to provide additional industrial training schools for Indian youth and authorizing the use of unoccupied mili- tary barracks for such purpose" (22 Stat.
