Cotton Thread Industry

  In supplement to an application filed for approval of a Code
of Fair Competition for the Cotton Thread Industry, the appli-
cants have requested immediate approval of certain provisions,
and after due consideration acting under the provisions of the
National Industrial Recovery Act, I agree with the applicants
who have filed said Code for the Cotton Thread Industry that
the provisions of Title 2, Paragraphs 5 and 6 and the provi-
sions of Title 3, paragraphs 4 and 5, which are identical with
corresponding provisions in the Cotton Textile Code, approved
by me July 9, 1933, should be made effective on July 17, 1933,
which is the effective date of the Cotton Textile Code, and I
therefore hereby approve of said provisions of said code for
the Cotton Thread Industry subject to the interpretations and
conditions imposed by me on my approval of the correspond-
ing provisions of said Cotton Textile Code and subject fur-
ther to such revisions or modifications as I may find proper
after a hearing has been held on said Code of Fair Competition
for the Cotton Thread Industry.
