Numerous supporters of Larry Wayne Harris meeting in an undisclosed Florida location and over conference calls and internet chat sessions have reached an undeniable conclusion. The government, in an attempt to discredit and quiet Larry Wayne Harris are using local Ohio media to build public fear of an American hero. The facts have been proven-the federal charges have been dropped.
Today, two highly inflammatory reports were released by three writers for the Columbus Dispatch, the town in which Larry Harris will face charges of violation of the terms of his probation. These charges have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FEDERAL CHARGES. The basis of his continued detention is that he is a flight risk and that he said he previously worked for the CIA. Mr. Harris followed the guide-lines for his probation and completed his community service in a timely manner.
(DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A MAN ATTEMPTING TO FLEE?)
He was not allowed to handle biologicals except in connection with employment (HE WAS UNDER CONTRACT WITH LEAVITT) and he made statements that he had enough anthrax to destroy Las Vegas (HE DID NOT AND HE NEVER SAID THAT-ANOTHER FALSE WITNESS PROVIDED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO GET A MAN WHO HAS DONE NO WRONG.)
Here is the truth behind the lies in the stories put out by the Columbus Dispatch:
ALLEGATION: "...other inventors don't want to be lumped with Harris when the conversation turns to science."
FACTS: Larry Harris is a pre-eminent registered microbiologist. He worked in Biowar Civil Defense. His book, Bacterological Warfare-A Major Threat to North America was declared a "Civilianized Manual for Civil Defense" by the Library of Congress. HazMat / 911 / Emergency groups in Pennsylvania have ordered his books in quantity for training / support purposes.
ALLEGATION: "...he violated probation in a 1997 conviction for illegally obtaining bubonic plague bacteria.'
FACTS: Dear Columbus Dispatch-do you have an editor? Mike Lafferty writes this and then Ann Fisher and Jill Riepenhoff indicate that "Harris later was arrested and convicted in federal court in Columbus for wire fraud" DO THE FACTS EVEN MATTER? For the record:
1. Harris was NOT CONVICTED. Harris took a plea bargain because he did not have the money to fight the charges which were CLEARLY INTENDED TO SILENCE HIM-when was the last time this obscure law had been used against anyone? Can you spell "malicious prosecution"?
2. The charges were STATE charges, not federal, based on an obsolete law which required someone calling out of state to leave their name and phone number. That was the TECHNICALITY they used to put Harris under their thumb.
3. The charges had NOTHING to do with biological agents. He could just as easily have been calling about an overdue magazine subscription.
ALLEGATION: "Most recently, on Feb. 18, he alarmed federal agents who heard he had boasted of having a container of deadly anthrax bacteria that turned out to be a benign form of anthrax vaccine".
FACTS: Oh really? And who would have said that? The only people privy to the research were Larry Harris, William Leavitt and Ron Rockwell, the INFORMANT. Ron Rockwell had tried to sell technology to Leavitt and Larry was hired as a consultant. Leavitt was ALSO a microbiologist. So who was it who did not know that what they had FROM THE START was a vaccine? How is it that the FBI, an agency with virtually unlimited access to wiretaps, bugging and other sur-veillance devices and who had ALL EIGHTY SIX FBI AGENTS IN NEVADA IN ON THE ARREST, could have made a mistake? The question is not what Larry bragged about, the question is how could the FBI have not known what he REALLY HAD.
ALLEGATION: Some of Harris' former neighbors in Lancaster expressed concern upon learning that he had a lab in his home.
FACT: If a registered microbiologist has a lab in his home, is that MORE or LESS dangerous than being in the heart of a major city in a large office building? Is doing the research safely in a lab in the home where his family lives more of a problem than doing it in an office park?
People get concerned when the are presented with falsehoods. The UNDISPUTED FACT is that Larry was working on a cure, not manu-facturing biologicals. He did not even need "weapons grade materials" for testing.
ALLEGATION: "The Harris case emphasizes that there is some research that ought to be left to professionals."
FACT: Larry is a professional. He is a registered microbiologist and has taught at Ohio State University. He is well respected as an expert in biological warfare agents. Although he has been attacked by non-professionals, his research into treatments for biologicals has been accepted by those who KNOW in the professional community. His research on antibiotic dosing was done in accordance with the strictest scientific standards -- National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS) publication M7-T2.
ALLEGATION: "...charged with conspiring to possess anthrax for use as a weapon."
FACT: What drugs are these reporters on? First, Ted Gunderson, former FBI agent and talk show host had done THREE interviews with Larry Harris regarding the experiments they were conducting. The Friday before the arrest, Lou Epton also had interviewed Leavitt on the same subject. Second, Harris was scheduled to speak at the Global Sciences Conference in Daytona Beach, Florida the DAY AFTER HIS ARREST. Top researchers at the Conference knew full well exactly what he was doing and what he was using to do it.
ALLEGATION: "The man is either a wannabe expert or a complete lunatic," Horowitz said. "Is he dangerous? Yes."
FACT: Well folks, Len Horowitz, D.M.D., M.A., M.P.H., coauthored a press release with Terry W. Stough, founder of the American Resistance Movement and a supporter of Harris. I don't think that anyone reading the press release could conclude that Dr. Horowitz thinks Harris is either a wannabe expert or a lunatic. Dangerous? Here is the conclusion from the press release: "Any way you look at it, the effect of this predicted episode had on the public's mind, and fear level was consistent with the effects of psychological warfare.
Today the threat of domestic bioterrorism looms greater than ever not because of Larry Harris, but because of his manipulators." Who is being manipulated NOW for psychological warfare purposes?
Larry Harris will have a hearing in this matter in Columbus, Ohio on Friday. He will be represented by Curt Griffith who put in his appearance in the case recently. Supporters of Larry Harris and people seeking the TRUTH will be present at the hearing in substantial numbers. They will not allow a further railroad job in this matter.
[The Hearing was held Friday March 7 and Larry Harris was found NOT GUILTY his probation and was released.]
Terry Stough and other supporters of Larry Harris are certain of the fact that numerous media outlets have INTENTIONALLY LIED to the public in order to build support for the government's efforts to silence Larry Harris. The media will be held to account for intentional deception of the American people.
