DUBYA WINS BY DECISION

He looked kind of cute, actually. He still sports the Ronald Reagan style haircut someone told him to wear and he even tries a little head bobbing and weaving like our last Great President used to do unconsciously when getting ready to throw out a zinger.

But that makeup! My oh my, who did they get, Tammy Fay Baker's face painter? Actually, last Tuesday night, Al Gore looked and acted just like he was a Saturday Night Live parody of himself. To be sure, the socialist pandering was there. But, all of Gore's presentation was little more than a bunch of mumble-jumble.

Simply put, Al Gore was playing the pander-bear card. He was trying to pander to every group, while giving incomplete, inconclusive, unclear, and usually untrue answers. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of people out in fly-over country who actually believe they can get free stuff from the government. They are just too stupid to realize that sooner or later someone must pay the bills -- and that someone will probably be their grand kids.

One little secret Washington does not want the American people to know is that the Democrats stole all the Social Security money over the years so they could finance more social programs and bribe uninformed voters into keeping them in office. If all that money were returned to the Social Security fund, there would be no problem with Social Security for many years to come. Instead, they raised taxes. And now, they are spending all that as part of the general budget, too.

Another little secret is there ain't no surplus! They're supposing a surplus will exist -- much the same as I could suppose that the novel I am working on will sell a million copies, I will get rich, so I can start spending the money now. Silly, eh?

Yeah. That "surplus" is only in their dreams. The national debt is still increasing. And, if they quit stealing Social Security money and put it all in the proper account, the country would still be running a massive deficit.

Dubya was correct. Gore has fuzzy math mated with out and out lies. But, anyone thinking there is a budget surplus to be spent also has fuzzy logic, based on a bad premise. And, when inflation hits double digits because of the huge increase in oil prices, the whole economy could fall into recession.

Dubya got in a few good jabs about honor and integrity, but geeez, George, it's the combinations that win the fight. Why were those jabs not followed by a hard right cross or a good uppercut every once in a while?

For instance, the Vice President has a job. That is, he is to be President of the Senate. But, Gore never goes to work. Instead, he fools around over at the White House and/or out burning fuel zooming around on Air Force Two. And, what about that world's largest tax increase that the Gore-bore voted for? That was very unconstitutional, of course, because it was retroactive.

Spank him hard, Dubya. Pick up a copy of his stupid book and read aloud about banning the internal combustion engine. Then, follow that up with a quick punch in the nose by asking where in the Constitution the federal government gets authority to regulate guns, tobacco, the environment, fruits and vegetables, farms, automobiles, trucks, our kids toys, our home toilets and toilet paper, the stream out back, seatbelts, fertilizer, lawn mowers, wages, and just about anything else one can think of.

Al Gore is nothing more than a socialist with strong elitist tendencies. He has done little or nothing in the past twenty-some years in government that is really Constitutional. So, the knock out question seems simple:

"As President, which parts of the Constitution will you honor and which parts do you intend to ignore? We already know you reject the First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Amendments. What else in the Constitution do you intend to disregard? That is, how many more of our inalienable rights will you usurp?"

Gore could not answer because he would have no idea what is "Constitutional." Like most in Washington, he has lost the concept of "Congress" and a Constitutionally limited government, and so they run Congress as if it were an unrestrained parliament.

Gore said nothing of interest. Nothing practical. Nothing even Constitutional. George W. Bush, on the other hand, scored what could have been the knock out punch had he put a little body behind it by clarifying his plan some. That was the Bush/Cheney "Comprehensive Energy Policy."(1)

Then came the closing statements and Dubya sneaked in a surprising ray of hope we almost missed: "I understand the limited role of the federal government."

We shall hope, Mr. Bush. Many millions of us will really be hoping that is true.

An hour after the debate, everyone was saying Bush won handily. All "polls" on the Internet showed Bush running at 60% or greater -- even the extensive CNN poll. Then, the paid propagandists in the media caught on to what was happening and started announcing the debate was a "tie." By Wednesday, the White House "explained" things to the national media and had all their journalist sycophants march in lockstep, telling us that Gore easily won the debate.

After also watching the vice-presidential debate, something struck me that I couldn't quite put to words until later: We are watching a contest between two very experienced and successful executives versus two liberal, baloney babbling and rather ordinary senators.

BUSH'S NEXT DEBATE SPEECH -- WE WISH

By: Scott Jordan

scott_jordan@novanetrics.com

[In the spirit of helpfulness, I've composed the following script for George W. Bush's next debate:]

Folks, this election is about character as much as anything. And you can get a good window on someone's character by looking at their track-record and the company they keep.

Now, there's a lot you haven't been told the past few years by folks like Mr. Lehrer over here. I don't quite know why. But I do know that you've been kept in the dark, and your interests sold down the river.

Lemme give you some hard examples. Communist China made hundreds of thousands of dollars of campaign contributions to my opponent. It appears that got them access to missile technology they couldn't get before, and now they have ICBMs pointed at you and me and our kids.

Or, there was the time millions of acres of prime coal country in Utah was put off-limits to mining by Mr. Gore and Mr. Clinton. Here we are with a new energy crisis starting, and one of the worlds two best sources of high-quality coal gets put under lock and key. The main beneficiary just happened to be another foreign campaign donor to Mr. Gore and Mr. Clinton. Bet you didn't know that. Mr. Lehrer hasn't brought it up, that much is certain.

And I don't know if you remember it, but every time my opponent and Mr. Clinton got into hot water with another of their damn scandals, they'd bomb the heck out of another country someplace, like that aspirin factory in Sudan. Got them pushed off the front page, that did.

And as a consequence, now we're out of cruise missiles. And their mismanagement means it'll be another eighteen months before new ones can be built, because the factories were mothballed.

And you don't have to take it from me, just ask any old-timer in the military: the situation is just the same with spare parts and training and even good people. We're fresh out. We couldn't mount another Desert Storm today if we had to. Entire divisions report they are not in a state of readiness. But the campaign donors are happy.

Then there's the company they keep. Have you ever seen such a Hollywood-obsessed administration? And yet Mr. Gore talks about "cultural pollution" as if he's gonna do something about it. Well, he was just endorsed by a national pornographer's association, folks. Because they know he isn't going to do anything about it -- and they're afraid I will. And the campaign donations keep rolling in from Hollywood to the Democrats.

And what about Mr. Clinton. The stock market is doing well, jobs are plentiful, and he claims full credit. Well I submit to you, Democrat presidents have come and gone, but this economy is something new.

What else is new? A Republican congress. First time in half a century. Now, you don't have to be a Harvard graduate like Mr. Gore to find that worth thinking about.

Another good indicator of character is the ability to talk straight and keep promises. Promises like a tax cut.

Instead Mr. Gore and Mr. Clinton gave you the biggest tax hike in history. They even made it retroactive. Bet you forgot that, too. Lots of folks have to work second jobs, or send their spouse out to work, because the tax load is too high, higher than anytime since World War Two.

Bet you didn't know that the average American spends more on taxes than food, clothing, transportation, entertainment and housing combined.

Mr. Gore isn't gonna tell you that. Mr. Lehrer seems not to notice either. But boy, when I promise to give people some of their own money back, Mr. Gore is fit to pop. He'd rather give that money to someone who didn't earn it.

Funny, that sounds familiar. Let's see, how's it go, "From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs." Karl Marx said that. I think he and Mr. Gore would find a lot to agree on. It's about the company they keep. Mr. Gore is tight with Occidental Petroleum. To a small oil guy like me, that's one humungous oil company. Founded by Armand Hammer.

Strange guy, Hammer. Big old millionaire, but his dad headed up the American Communist Party. Hammer himself was tight with Stalin, and a known Soviet agent here for years and years. FBI knew all about him. Bet Mr. Lehrer never told you about the $500,000 a year Mr. Hammer paid Mr. Gore's father, or the $20,000 a year that still comes to Mr. Gore from Occidental for the right to do nothing with land his family owns.

Y'know, if I were Mr. Gore, I'd hesitate a little more to mention how close I am with the leadership of Russia. Armand Hammer used to boast that his dad was in his pocket, you know. Or maybe you didn't.

And I gotta tell you this: there's something a little odd about this habit my opponent has about making up things to make himself look like a bigshot. Like inventing the Internet, or establishing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, or discovering Love Canal, or growing up in the Tennessee hills instead of a swanky Washington four- star hotel, or even that his dad lost his Senate seat for voting for the civil rights act, when in fact he voted against it. Funny stuff too, like the time he said he and Tipper inspired "Love Story". News to the author, that was.

Or get a load of this Reagan costume he's wearin' all of a sudden.

And just the other night in Boston, he talked about how he volunteered in Vietnam. Truth is, he spent six months there as a journalist, never saw action, then came home.

Or that yarn he spun in Boston about coming to South Texas with FEMA after all the trouble there. Didn't happen quite that way. I oughta know.

Or that his uncle was gassed in the Balkans in World War 1. Turns out it was France, but that wouldn't have helped him explain the Kosovo thing, so he changed it. So right there before your very eyes, he was being less than truthful with you.

Y'know, when he was caught taking Chinese money from that Buddhist Temple, first thing he said was that there was no controlling legal authority. I mentioned that in Boston. What that means is, he was bragging that there wasn't a specific police agency with the authority to nail him.

Turned out he was correct. Doesn't mean it was right. Or maybe you've noticed how he's run roughshod over the debate rules here. Interrupting, talking overtime, taking extra turns. Could it be that Mr. Gore just has a fundamental problem with right and wrong, with following the rules? You tell me what your own eyes told you. I think we've had enough of that in our leaders.

And I think we've had enough of the media covering for them.

That includes you, Jim.

And that's all I have to say.

COMMUNISM USA

In truth, this may or may not be real news to many people (he writes with a snicker and a sneer). On the other hand, it is more than just important background material for the election campaigns. A few years ago, this would be a major scandal of national proportions.

Last week, an alert reader sent me an article titled Campaign 2000 to read.(1) The note said to guess which political party published it. Down around the middle of the text I read:

"The working class is in motion. A victory by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney will set back that motion. A victory by the Democrats in the race for the presidency, the House and the Senate will allow the space to move to new heights of struggle and new forms of political independence. While the Green Party platform is good, it is lacking in the most important issue of this election -- the necessity to defeat the ultra-right. In this tight, life-and-death election, the strongest anti-corporate vote is a vote for the ticket that can win against Bush/Cheney in 2000."

I discounted the opinion as just another piece of typical Democratic Party and/or union propaganda. That's how two-thirds of today's Democrats talk. The only difference was, the author took a little while to get to the point. Therefore, I guessed (correctly) that it was not professional campaign material. Nevertheless, they finally did get to the point down in the second from last paragraph:

"After everything is said and done this election is not just about which political party wins. It's basically about the defense of and fight for democracy. A Gore victory will give encouragement to the labor -- civil rights -- environment -- youth coalition to continue the struggle to extend and preserve democracy."

That was also where they started to tip their hand somewhat. The " extend and preserve democracy" part is code used by a certain group that I have not been paying much attention to these past few years. There last paragraph verified that:

"The time is now to join with labor and allies to deliver a resounding defeat to the ultra-right on November 7. Such a dramatic coalition victory will open the doors for large-scale post-election struggles. It prepares the way for a qualitative breakthrough in electing anti-corporate candidates from the ranks of working women and men at all levels of government."

Mentioning "the ultra-right" followed by "anti-corporate" and "working women and men" in the next sentence, gave them away. This text was published by the followers of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels. The communists. And sure enough, when I was sent the URL, it was the Communist Party USA.(2)

So, I checked it out -- snooped around some. Obviously, there is much more to this than just the commie support of Gore and Lieberman. A quick reading of some of their articles shows that the ideals and party platform of the Communist Party USA is surprisingly similar to that of the Democratic Party and the Gore/Lieberman platform.

The burning question quickly becomes, which party is driving the other's agenda? Two things are very evident. Both political parties profess the same ideals and want to steer the federal government in the same direction. And, both political parties seem to be closely aligned with the unions, especially the AFL-CIO.

This explains a lot about the divide and control attitude of the Democratic Party, of course. Not only does it look as if the Democratic Party is using the old communist propaganda techniques to warp the minds of the people, they are in fact using those very same techniques -- albeit, with a few modern twists and improvements.

Because, reading their political literature, it is very difficult to tell if the Democratic Party turned communist or the Communist Party USA joined the Democratic Party. Their platforms and ideals are nearly indistinguishable.

So, even though we can file this information under the "we sort of knew that, anyway" column, the problem does warrant further study and discussion. And, for those interested, a list of local Communist Party-USA offices is available.(4)

REAL CHANGES CAUSED

Some American Patriots are starting to say their efforts to effect political change are futile. Consensus is building within some groups that the only way to initiate real change is by force. And unfortunately, many Americans outside of the Patriot community are beginning to feel that way, too.

Luckily, that opinion does not seem to be true. In fact, the efforts of the many Constitutionalist groups around the country are already bearing fruit. In the arena of public opinion, the desire for a severely limited Constitutionally restricted federal government is pervasive. That has slowly but surely become the majority opinion in this country. Clearly, (as per published accounts) two- thirds of the American public are really fed up with today's federal government.

Sure, you have not heard this reported on the nightly news yet. And you probably never will. You cannot expect the liberal national media to report public opinion to which they are diametrically opposed. To the socialist sycophants in the national media, we supporters of the Constitution are no more than " right wing radicals."

Take that radical right tag for what it's worth. Because, they are correct about one thing: As per the Founding Fathers, we are, in fact, "right." And they, on the other hand, are not. Because, the fact remains that over two-thirds of the American public do not trust the federal government, and only 22% actually trust the FBI and Department of Justice.

The primary reason is all those federal laws -- womb to tomb regulation of everything in life. It's hard to even exist anymore without breaking one or two of their stupid laws everyday. For instance, the eco-wackos even had the government add weeds and bugs to their "protected species" list. And, at the rate they're going, it won't be long till they start adding bacteria, too. The American people are noticing, and they are not pleased.

The war on drugs turned out to be a war on the American citizen. Government wants to fight the drug problem, so they made all American citizens change their lifestyles to conform to police wishes. Worse, the CIA investigates itself and reports that the agency "never" had anything to do with drug smuggling and money laundering. Without mentioning, of course, that there were a couple CIA agents under indictment for smuggling tons of cocaine into this country. And most of us know about a certain popular radio talk show host who almost went to prison a few years ago for laundering millions of dollars via the CIA. Americans noticed all of these problems with government, and they are upset.

A woman's grandson goes out behind the barn to smoke a joint. The police saw him, searched grandma's house, and in the process ripped off all the new Christmas gifts she received and the seed-cash she had stashed. The town noticed, and soon thousands more people in six counties were angry.

Another farmer nearly lost his farm and new tractor for no more than plowing his field. Turns out, he ran over a protected rat in the process and the government eco-wackos arrested him. That government silliness made the national publications, most of the country noticed and many expressed outrage.

The federal government is now so obstructive to human existence that we cannot even use our own money as we wish anymore. Today, a person can be arrested for withdrawing as little as $3,000 cash from the bank without notifying bureaucrats. The federal police do not want citizens to carry large sums of cash anymore, even if it is their own money. So, they made yet another law. This stupid, unconstitutional law will make lawbreakers of many thousands of American citizens annually. Because, in fact, very few people even know about the law and would not conform even if they did.

In truth, we Americans do not know 90% of the law anymore, and government agents take advantage of that. We cannot know the law -- no one can -- because there is too much of it, and it keeps changing. The law is so complicated, in fact, that judges cannot know the law either. This caused the federal government to set up "specialized" courts, one for each subject in the law. Consequently, prosecution today is little more than selective tyranny. The American people are noticing, and beginning to outwardly express their displeasure and distrust with all three branches of government.

There's a lot more, of course, but you get the idea. Little, if any, of this material ever makes the news because, for some reason, the liberal media actually want government to control everything -- except the press, of course. Nevertheless, the American public knows what is going on. Americans see that the federal government is now totally out of control. And, they are about to do something about it.

Exactly what is to be done is under discussion right now.

In every State, and in many counties of every State, groups are forming. And these groups all have one thing in mind: Beat back that overburdening federal leviathan! The American people will, too. Soon. All that's needed is a joining force -- a leader to rally behind.

The liberal cycle in American government is just about over. The control freaks in government are just about to be cast out. Americans want less government and much more personal freedom. And if the popular opinion from coast to coast has anything to do with it, Americans may have freedom from central government interference again. Soon.

The pendulum swings. And it's just about to hit the peg on the far left. When it does, there will be a sudden political bounce, back towards center. At that time, wholesale changes will be made in government. Some of the worst politicians and bureaucrats will be prosecuted. A few judges will be removed from the bench. Laws, rules and regulations will be repealed. Whole departments and agencies will be abolished. And we will began to return to something resembling a Constitutional form of government.

Meanwhile, it's time we activists ramp-up our activities slightly. Contact sponsors of offending newspapers and television programs. Use the far-left's style of "in-your-face" tactics, and shout down liberals wherever and whenever you find them. And we must also start actively helping good people run for elected office -- every elected office.

It's time we make more noise. A LOT more noise! Either elected officials and bureaucrats are to support the Constitution, as written, or they are to get the hell out of government. We must not allow anything in-between.

The American Patriot Movement really is making a difference. Maybe the changes they want are not happening as fast as these groups wish. But their efforts have gone far to create a definitely palpable awareness in millions of American people.
