WE NEED A UNITER, NOT A DIVIDER

Paul Gigot of the Wall Street Journal wrote Wednesday:  "America -- or rather the two Americas -- got the government we probably deserved this week.  A perfectly divided nation appears to have elected an imperfectly divided government."

And so goes the truth, out in plain sight for all to ponder.  We are, of course, a divided nation nowadays. On one side we have those who respect our Constitution, our Rule of Law, our personal freedom and liberty.  On the other side we have the socialists -- those who think big government should provide for them and guide the whole of their lives through rules, regulations and laws.

Well folks, here's the time in our history where the rubber meets the road.  The socialists mean to control us -- all of us.  The unions, especially the far left teacher's unions, have indoctrinated generations of kids well.  The young in society do not know freedom.  They actually expect big government to act like their mother did when they were children and tell them what to do, how to think and what is good and bad for them.  Many of them would fit right in to the Germany of about 1938.

The socialists had a fifty-year plan to take over the nation and now they damn near have it completed.

Except . . . well, half of the American people will not yet cooperate.  Worse for the socialists, their useful idiots actually make up less than one-quarter of our society and the socialists really don't have enough people in place to instigate all of their agenda at once.

Many of Dubya's advisors know this and that is terribly frightening to the Democratic Party.  Dubya wants to be a uniter.  Gore, and the socialist side, wants to continue the divide and control concept so they have time to get yet a larger segment of the nation indoctrinated properly.

No one actually expected all this to come to a head this year.  But, the media propaganda arm of the Democratic Party screwed up last Tuesday night and here it is.

The Democratic Party honchos are foaming at the mouth over this.  Lucky for us, though, there are two camps over there and they are not agreeing with each other. One camp wants Gore to shut up and concede the election to Dubya.  The other camp wants to continue on with every dirty trick possible -- win at any cost.  Both camps are dangerous to liberty.  But, the latter, of course, are the most immediately dangerous to the welfare of our nation.

The immediate problem started with a company named Voter News Service.  VNS is owned by the Associated Press and the television networks.  It is a profit making organization, a business.

Generally, through polls and exit polls, VNS builds profiles on various precincts throughout a State so as to accurately predict the outcome of an election by the afternoon of election day.  This information is then shared with network television producers so they can script their talking heads to report the election results.

Last Tuesday night, many Americans noticed that quite often the vote results displayed at the bottom of the screen were greatly different than what the talking heads were announcing. Many times, Gore was projected the winner of a State when, in fact, the mean voter results at the bottom of the screen showed Bush with a decisive lead.

In fact, the VNS "decision desk" actually gave California to Gore as soon as the California polls closed and while the vote count was still zero.  All networks, being programmed from the same consortium, immediately announced California for Gore within seconds of each other.

But, let's get with the facts here, folks:  That is how most political news is reported to us.  In this case, it was VNS.  Quite often, it is the White House or the Democratic Party programming the news.  That's been going on for many years.

Generally speaking, the media does not project a State's results until the polls in that State have all closed.  However, last Tuesday they were in a hurry to cause a win for Gore.  So, VNS -- and hence, all network news shows -- announced Florida as a win for Gore even before the Florida Panhandle polls were closed.  The Panhandle is on Central time, you see, so the polls stayed open an hour later.

There is good data to support the fact that the early call for Florida and the so called "battleground states" then helped suppress the conservative turnout in the West.  That, of course, helped Gore quite a bit.

Later, the networks were forced to take back the Florida call for Gore.  Much later, at 2:16 a.m., Fox News Channel declared Bush the winner in Florida.  Within four minutes, NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC did exactly the same. That's when they all declared Bush the next President of the United States.  All votes in all States were not yet counted. But, that wasn't important to the TV newsreaders.

Then, after 4 a.m., it became clear that the close Florida count was going south for Bush and would be contested.  So, they had to take Florida away from Bush. Again, this happened at the same time on all networks.

On Wednesday, television networks tried to explain how they totally screwed up the call on the Florida election results -- twice.  But, they couldn't really say much without digging themselves too deep in lies and deceptions, and/or letting America know that they are but talking puppets in the scheme of things.  "We don't just have egg on our face," NBC's Tom Brokaw said. "We have an omelet."

Make that baloney, Tom.

Those of us on the Internet had raw data rather than VNS projections.  Any network could have used the same data.  ABC news ran a web site that updated the voter data in each State by the minute.  But, they did not use their own site for broadcast reporting.  Rather, they were programmed by the same VNS "projections" all other news shows used.

Many newspapers were not much better. Newspaper writers across the country wrote reports based on what they heard on TV.  So, after 4 a.m., there were reports of editors across the country shouting "stop the presses!"

The Voter News Service "decision desk" screwed up royally.  According to some, VNS totally mis-analyzed the Florida vote and embarrassed the network news shows.

Maybe.

But that VNS "mistake" certainly benefited Gore at the polls.  A lot!

It's interesting, too, to report that these professional newsreaders, who were instructed to deride Dubya for occasionally mispronouncing a word or two on the campaign trail, themselves developed a bit of a diction problem.  After 8 or 10 hours, the anchors and pundits were all babbling and butchering words regularly.  Peter Jennings, Dan Rather, Cokie Roberts, Chris Matthews, all of them were articulating poorly.  Now they know how candidates feel at the end of a long day on the campaign trail.

Yet another interesting point that should be related is these newsreaders expressed disdain for the Internet reporting of Matt Drudge.  All networks (and many newspapers) made many, many more errors in one twelve hour period than Drudge has in a few years.

All the above is important, but the assist given the Gore Campaign by VNS is but a part of this story. Apparently, theft only counts when the wrong people steal. There seemed almost to be a widespread criminal conspiracy to steal the election.  Massive vote fraud was evident in many areas of the country.  But, none of it was reported by the networks.

Many of us know the illegal alien story from 1996.  Not reported by the so called "news" networks is the fact that it happened again this year.

One report comes from Judicial Watch in Washington.  Judicial Watch reports that:  "Based on discussions with an Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) source, Judicial Watch said today that the Florida District of the INS has engaged in a systematic program of rushing aliens through the naturalization process to meet INS headquarters 'goals' by October 1, 1999 and October 1, 2000.  In Florida, a new citizen can register to vote up to October 10th."

Generally speaking, some of the same things happened in the Western States.  The Clinton & Gore administration was importing voters.

Of course, look who Gore's campaign chairman is:  William Daley of the infamous Chicago Daley family. Cook County, Illinois, is where a big-city Democratic machine has been voting the graveyards since even before Daley's father ran the place with an iron fist.

Gore supporter Jesse Jackson, Jr. says Church Politicking "Supersedes the Law."  Well, it does for Democrats, anyway.  Put a Republican at a church pulpit and it makes major news around the country -- separation of church and state, and all that stuff the left likes to mouth off about.

Bill Clinton got into the church act, visiting Arkansas Black churches the weekend before election day. The plan was to bus churchgoers from selected churches to a special absentee voting session at the courthouse.  Except, a prosecutor was alerted and notified the county clerk that Sunday voting was illegal.  Hence, the polls were not available.  They probably all got their "walking-around money" anyway, though.  No one was arrested, either.

Even before Election Day, a controversy erupted in Wisconsin when Gore fund-raisers from New York developed a scheme to bribe homeless people in Milwaukee with cigarettes to vote absentee for Gore.  Apparently, they have voter registration there without an address or identification requirement.

Wisconsin, by the way, was declared for Gore early.  The RNC is demanding a recount due to the many irregularities.

In Missouri, Democrats asked a Democratic judge to keep the polls open after 7 p.m. while they tried to persuade more Democrats to register and vote.  The judge agreed but was quickly overruled by a three judge appeals panel.  That didn't help.  Polling places in heavily Democratic areas were open until nearly 11 PM.

KSDK Channel 5 in St. Louis reported that Senator Bond said there was a scheme to unfairly get votes in a predominantly Democratic area.  He added that it was planned in advance.  Bond wrote a formal letter to FBI Director Louis Freeh asking the FBI to investigate the criminal activities.  They won't.

Actually, the St. Louis Post Dispatch also reported on election day that there would be irregularities and that the plan was to keep the polls open.  Bond called this evidence that there was a pre-planned scheme -- a "major criminal enterprise."

Right!  No kidding.  Vote fraud is evident in most major cities around the country.  Democrats and their union cohorts seem to get a free pass to plan and conduct these conspiracies.

Last Thursday, UPI reported:  "Despite the court order, numerous witnesses have stated that voters were registered and permitted to cast ballots late into the evening in direct violation of that court order," Senator Bond wrote.  "Furthermore, witnesses have stated that individuals registering voters and encouraging voting were aware of that order and knowingly ignored the court order, thereby committing voter fraud.  Additionally, election judges at approximately 29 polling places left their positions at 7 p.m., leaving ballots and ballot boxes unattended for an undetermined amount of time.  Considering these and other events that transpired over the course of the evening, there is reason to believe that collusion existed to commit voter fraud and voter fraud occurred on a wide scale throughout the city of St. Louis."

That's how they defeated Sen. John Ashcroft and padded the vote for Gore.  No arrests made yet, though.

It was also interesting to watch the vote count in progress and how fast things could change.  Inconvenient trends (for Gore) often suddenly changed within minutes. Conversely, many times obvious trends (favoring Bush) were not even mentioned.

For instance, in Iowa, with 99 percent of voting precincts reporting as of noon Wednesday, Gore had just a 5,253-vote lead over Dubya, out of nearly 1.3 million votes cast.  In Wisconsin, with all precincts reporting, Gore had a lead of 5,921 out of more than 2.5 million votes cast.  Thousands of absentee ballots were still out, but they were discounted by both VNS and the networks.

A recount could also be necessary in New Hampshire.  Bush has only a 7,282-vote lead out of more than 563,000 votes cast.  New Hampshire has four electoral votes.  If Bush were to win Florida's 25 electoral votes but lose New Hampshire's four, he then would have only 267 electoral votes -- three short of the 270 he needs.  But, the media doesn't care about that race either.

According to Clifford Thies, National Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus:  In "Washington, the state is called for Gore with 11 Electoral Votes.  Of the tabulated votes, Gore has 884,363 and Bush 795,679, for a lead of 88,684.  There are (approx.) 682,231 uncounted mail ballots.  If Bush wins 60 percent of these mail ballots (which is very possible), he will gain 136,446 votes on Gore."

If the absentee votes come in and Bush wins Oregon and Washington, and also wins a recount in Wisconsin (a lot of supposing going on here, but it's all possible), where Gore is ahead by less than one-half of one percent of the vote, Bush would have 275 Electoral Votes.  Dubya wouldn't even need Florida then.

In Florida, the overseas absentee ballots had to be postmarked by Nov. 7, but they have until Nov. 17 to arrive at local election offices.  Back in 1996, of the 2,300 overseas absentee ballots that were returned in Florida, 57% were cast for Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole.  Florida was carried by Bill Clinton then.

Anyway, now the Florida vote recount is ongoing -- however fraudulent it may still be.  By Wednesday night, Democratic State Sen. Ron Klein and lawyer Jeffrey Liggio -- the official observers in the Palm Beach County recount -- said county officials disqualified 19,120 presidential votes Tuesday because voters selected more than one candidate.  That is about 4% of total votes cast in the county for president.  That seems kind of high for most elections, but it's not outrageous.  Because Friday, we learned that most of those ballots were spoiled ballots that were returned by the voters and replaced with new ones.

We hope that they take a good long time with this Florida recount and that there are court fights before the vote is certified.  Furthermore, we hope and pray that Dubya stays in the background and does not concede the election to Gore for at least another two weeks, no matter how the Florida count looks.

Some observers are noticing that the national popular vote for Bush is still growing.  That is, there are still a million or so absentee ballots to be counted around the country -- enough to possibly give Bush a lead in the popular vote.

At this writing, a California official just announced that there are about a million absentee ballots still uncounted in that State alone.  They have 28 days in which to get that done.  It was also reported that many of them, perhaps a great majority, are expected to be from Republican absentee voters.  Which means, Dubya could still receive a majority of all votes cast nationally.

But, the strong background forces of the left are busily working against Bush.

ABC already declared that there would be no "mandate" for a President Bush, saying he could not demand tax cuts.  They report that Hill Democrats are in "no mood" for partisanship because they would be bitter about losing both Congress and the White House.

Then, Tom Brokaw stated on the Today show that Dubya should not declare victory even if he wins the recount.  Brokaw thinks that the other issues must first be considered.  The newsreader hinted around that assuming victory would not be legitimate.

So, it seems, if Bush does win, the media will set him up for failure by giving the Democrats and their obnoxious positions plenty of air time.  Typical.  They are very biased.

A few days before the election, the media started on a pre-programmed tirade about a civil infraction citation issued a quarter-century ago.  Apparently, all their private investigators and activists could dig up about Dubya was some old DUI ticket, so we heard about that all night every night until the election.  They intentionally created a topic to demean our candidate.  Yet they had nothing to say about any of Gore's many violations of the law over the years.  That is totally biased reporting.

Now the Democrats and their sycophants in the media have found yet another non-issue to fill their time with: the type of ballot used in Florida.

Newsreader Chris Matthews broke a DNC inspired wire report which stated that lawyers for three "confused" Palm Beach county residents have filed a lawsuit demanding a new election.

Yeah, the elderly blue hair set -- those who have trouble telling a tube of Preparation-H from toothpaste are complaining because they say they "might" have become "confused" with the ballot.  This kind of makes us wonder who reads their McDonald and Big Boy menus for them and fills out their golf scorecards.

Shall we feel sorry for them?  Let's see:

One point:  How the hell are these old folks able to play a table full of bingo cards, yet not read a large print ballot?  Could these just be three Democratic activists intentionally causing trouble -- creating a diversion to cover other things?

The facts are:  99% of the people were not confused by the ballot.  That type of ballot is used in many areas of the country.  Even the Florida Democratic Party approved the ballot before the election.  Those ballots were designed by a Democratic Party official with input from many people.  The people of the county had an opportunity to view the ballot and kibitz long before the election.  Therefore, there can be no valid complaints.

It sounds like these three senior citizens were pulling our collective legs.  And so they were.  Because, by Saturday, local news sources indicated that all three were professional people in the community as well as professional Democratic Party activists.

In other words, this is little more than yet another Democratic Party con job.  They are running a major scam on the American people.  And, as with the reporting of the election results last Tuesday night, the left's many sycophants in the media are an active part of this con game. That is, the national news intentionally neglected to mention this flagrant deception and kept right on repeating the Democratic Party disinformation.  The diversion.

In short, we the American people are being had. The more we dig into this mess, the more it looks as though there is a very active conspiracy running in the background to steal the election.

If voter fraud, interfering in an election and misprision of felony are still against the law, it seems that police are going to need quite a lot of handcuffs. One simply may not hide behind the right of freedom of speech when one knows perfectly well that the speech is intentionally being used specifically to create a diversion to mask an ongoing felony(s).  But, it looks as though that is exactly what is in progress at this writing.

We are being conned.  Clearly!

Some of the above "facts" may change slightly between this writing and publication.  However, what probably will not change is the Gore camp's attempt to discourage, dissemble, exaggerate, propagandize, and totally muck up the whole procedure with legal tricks and cover-ups.  After all, that's how they operate.  And, as we said above, the Democratic Party is divided into two camps about this at the moment -- for a very good reason.

Anyway, Wednesday night, Gore came out looking like a whipped puppy and verbally danced around his problem publicly for a couple minutes.  Gore gave what was called in professional circles a "formal and somewhat combative speech" from behind a lectern, mentioning the need to uphold the Constitution:  "It must be followed faithfully," Gore said unconvincingly.

Many in the Gore camp appear willing to cause a full-scale political crisis rather than accept the Constitutionally-mandated results of the election.  To that end, they called an assault team of 70 lawyers into Florida. To pay for the lawyers to come in and sue everybody in sight, the Gore campaign called on their Washington insider friends (lobbyists) to raise a quick $3 million by Friday. At this writing, we learn that the Gore campaign lawyers already have some of the paperwork ready to file.  That is how Gore intends to uphold the Constitution.  Not!

Unless Bush gives up, the Gore campaign will challenge every little thing they can think of, including the Florida recount, in court, however many times it takes. Gore's camp will justify their devious actions by pointing to a win in the popular vote, making the argument that Gore deserves the presidency no matter what the Constitutional procedure may be.

But, like we said above, not everyone in the Democratic Party agrees.  There are a lot of liberal lawyers already on the scene, but several Democrat officials believe Gore has lost hope and should quickly concede as Nixon did in 1960.  Because, if Gore pursues this too far, a lot of things will be exposed that the DNC prefers to keep under cover.

Now these fugitives from the American Way are starting to attack the Constitutional provision of an Electoral College.  Comrade Senator Hillary already publicly stated that she will introduce a bill to abolish the Electoral College as soon as she gets to the Senate. "Unfair" the socialist on the left cry.  "The popular vote should prevail in our democracy."

The media have now been instructed to start harping about the "unfairness" of the Electoral College in a democracy.  But, let's not bother to inform them that we live in a Constitutional Republic -- which is greatly different than a democracy.  Just let the Democrats and their sycophants in the national media make total asses of themselves again for a while.

The DNC would be harmed greatly by Gore if too many of their illegal "get out the vote" techniques come out.  And come out they will, if Gore kicks up too much of a stink.  Because, Republicans in Congress will be in the mood to start writing legislation with teeth against voter fraud just as soon as they return to Capitol Hill. Democrats will not like that, of course.  But it would be very difficult for anyone to stand before either house of Congress in support of more voter fraud.

Already, the Voter News Service is becoming the talk of the federal bureaucracy.  Their exit polling will soon be looked into.  So will their method of driving the network news on election night.  Obviously, VNS had great affect on the election process.  Legislation may soon be introduced restricting VNS's methods of operation.

We are usually against anything that restricts the right of political speech.  However, many of us may not be in a very big hurry to protect the First Amendment speech of a media that often uses their speech to recommend stripping us of our First, Second and Fourth Amendment rights.

In other words, it's tit for tat, my friends in the media!  You deserve whatever you get, because you have been using the power of your perch to preach the far-left's propaganda position of restricting our unalienable rights and liberties.  There is appalling bias against the Constitution in your network newsrooms.  Furthermore, you have intentionally adversely affected the campaign of an honorable candidate in favor of a damn socialist liar.

Interestingly enough, at least one Florida Panhandle resident "may file a lawsuit to get the election results overturned if Bush does not win," Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-FL) told WABC radio's Sean Hannity Thursday, "because he and, from what we're hearing, up to ten thousand voters in Northwest Florida walked away from the ballot box when ABC, NBC, CBS called Florida for Gore before our voting booths closed."

Rep. Scarborough also added that two poll workers reported that long voter lines started to disappear as soon as the state was called for Gore.  Meaning, the Congressman has at least two actual -- and official -- eyewitness accounts of the damage to the Bush campaign caused by the VNS's publication of early unscrupulously fabricated "projections."

Another major topic developing in the background for the babble breaths to harp on will be the Democrat's false claim of a "Constitutional crisis."  This is, of course, total baloney.  Nowhere does the Constitution even hint that all ballots must be counted and certified, and the results accepted by all, within a week or two or even a month of election day.  Some voters may not like waiting for results, but that is but personal opinion that has absolutely no significance in the Constitutional scheme of things.

We have a history of peaceful transitions in government.  Anyone wondering what will happen if there is not a certified winner of the presidential election ready to take office in January need only read the Constitution to see.  That too will be a peaceful transition which will have little or no real affect on the people living in the various States.

That is, there will not be any effect on the people living in the States unless someone in government tries to take over the government in a manner not authorized by our Constitution.  All elected officials must realize that most Americans are watching closely now and many do not like what they see.  Not at all.  Caution is advised.

Our nation needs a uniter, not a divider. Therefore, we wholeheartedly continue to support Governor George W. Bush for President of the United States.  As an outward indication of our support, we shall again return the Bush 2000 yard sign to our front yard and recommend others do the same.

Now, here comes the "Gore Problem."

Gore campaign manager Bill Daley told a news conference that a recount is not enough.  There is only one acceptable outcome to Gore:  "If the will of the people is to prevail, Al Gore should be awarded a victory in Florida and be our next President."  So, if the election results don't do that, Gore will find a judge to get the election overturned.

"Let the legal system run its course," Daley said.  "We will be working with voters from Florida in support of legal actions to demand some redress. ... We believe with so much at stake, steps should be taken to make sure that the peoples' choice becomes our President."

Geeez!  And all this time we thought it was Bill Clinton who would act like Hitler and go for a take over.  Now it turns out that Gore the Bore wants to crown himself as Prince Albert of the District of Columbia, or something.  Stupid and egotistical, as usual.

So, the "Gore Problem" begins.

Y'all want YOUR President in the White House? As I wrote above, this is where the rubber meets the road, so you might have to get up off the couch and do something for four or five days in a row.

Yeah, to get YOUR President in the White House you will actually need to take action.  So get ready to fight the "Gore Problem" with a gusto.

First, the DNC and Gore campaign should be overwhelmed with letters and telephone calls demanding they stop their foolishness and concede to Dubya forthwith. Then, we need to badger the hell out of every Republican representative and senator we can get to until they all think the words "Gore Problem" are a natural part of the English language.  Tell them to get this "Gore Problem" fixed NOW.  No excuses!  Every newspaper should receive hundreds of cards and letters about the looming "Gore Problem" and how it harms the nation.  Every radio talk show should be overwhelmed by callers wanting to discuss this "Gore Problem" from now until the "Gore Problem" is resolved to our satisfaction.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, folks.  Take a lesson from the left:  You want action, get to making a lot of noise.  No Bush in the White House, no peace for any liberal, news outlet or politician we can find.

That's how that game is played and it's about damn time we (millions of us) started to get heard.  Don't ask, yell.  Don't beg, demand.  The "Gore Problem" must be corrected as soon as possible.

It's our turn.  Shame the socialists.  No Bush in the White House, no peace.

End
