ELECTION 2000 FRAUD
Which Republicans are out there defending Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris against the media morons and Gore's platoon of attack attorneys? None! The craven bunch ran to hide. The fact is that "no controlling legal authority" Al Gore finally met someone who wields some actual lawful authority and he can't stand it because she's both a Republican and a woman. So, they have already sent out a platoon of PI's to investigate her and set up a war room to publicly demean her character.
By their own admission, the Gore campaign has, in other words, formed a criminal conspiracy with the expressed intent of intimidating an elected official enough to keep her from performing her lawfully appointed duties as per the law of the State of Florida.
It was almost the same back when Newt Gingrich led House Republicans to a big win. They all cheered and
made Newt Speaker of the House. What they forgot was that Newt was a brave pioneer, and pioneers get the arrows. But, other House Republicans were not very brave. When the arrows from the left were fired at Newt, instead of circling the wagons and fighting, they all ran to hide and left their leader standing out unprotected.
Last week, we saw the leftist liberal scumbag wordsingers out on the Democratic Party's shout shows intentionally demeaning the reputation of Katherine Harris (and other Republicans), but none of the big Republican men were there to defend her honor. Instead, again they were all hiding. As it turns out, publicly, the only real man in the Republican Party is Rush Limbaugh. The others fear offending the left. Such is their shame.
Warren Christopher stressed Wednesday that the Democrats are looking for a "speedy, rapid resolution" of this mess. Yeah, sure they are. Gore went on television last Wednesday night and said, essentially, that if Republicans do what he wants, and let him win, his assault team of lawyers in Florida will quit suing everyone in sight. At that time, Gore had nearly 100 lawyers causing trouble in Florida and was trying to bring in yet another
500 to participate. Instead of finessing the law, the Gore campaign is bulldozing it into the garbage.
For instance, everyone knows that those ballots cannot be recounted more than once. They're using the old style ballots, you see, which have pre-perforated "chads" that are designed to punch out easily. Therefore, we hear of pregnant, dimpled, hanging, swinging door, bi-cornered, tri-cornered or punched chads. And every time they count the votes the totals are different. Because, every time people handle the ballots, more of those little buggers come off. They now have these little "chads" on the floor three offices down from the counting tables because the things are sticking to people's shoes and getting carried around.
According to the Wall Street Journal, (11/14/00) there are reports that "when helpful election officials in Pinellas County (Florida), which went for Al Gore, removed the chaff from ballots before they were submitted for recount by the machines, Gore/Lieberman picked up an additional 417 votes." No doubt. That's an old trick.
Some Republicans report that Palm Beach County Commissioner Carol Roberts poked, twisted and manipulated ballots during one of the hand recounts of four precincts. They demanded she step down from the election canvassing board, but she will not. Instead, Roberts announced last Tuesday that she was willing to go to jail rather than stop trying to fudge the numbers. Prison is where she belongs. There is no telling how many ballots she changed before she was caught.
Of course, they keep changing the rules for examining ballots for hand counting as they go along, too. And, every county seems to do it differently. In other words, this "recount" is just one big farce.
The whole of the recount fiasco was swarming with Democratic Party operatives -- none of whom had the common decency to do what George Bush's brother, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, did and recuse themselves.
Palm Beach Police ran across another little problem last week. They had cause to confiscate a "Votamatic" ballot-punch mechanism from the car of a well- known rabid Democrat State senator. The "cause" was because no one is supposed to have one of those things and this guy was obviously shopping it around. Unfortunately, they didn't charge him with anything. He's a Democrat, after all.
Deputies swept the floor after one day of recounting ballots by the Broward County canvassing board. When board members came in the next morning, they found a manila police envelope with the words: "Crime. Found Property" written on it in large letters. Inside were 78 "chads." Therefore, 78 ballots are incorrect.
Tom Carroll, an economics professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, did a statistical analyses on the net vote gains for Gore and Bush. Gore picked up about 2,200 votes and Bush has only received about 700 more votes from the recounts. Carroll reports that statistical chances for such large and different totals are about one in 49 million -- about the same chance as a person getting hit by lightning 30 times.
The facts are clear, folks. They are stealing the election right in front of us. We Republicans, on the other hand, are sitting back on our haunches and watching -- and by our fear of upsetting those on the far- left, becoming complaisant in the crime.
Can anyone say " misprision of felony"? Most elected officials are involved in this one. Federal law 18 USC 4 states: "Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."
Now we learn that Gore is covertly hiring attorneys and private investigators in every state won by Bush to make up "profiles" on those picked to represent their State in the Electoral College. Gore's intent is to threaten and intimidate as many Electors as possible into changing their vote. As long as Gore has the full power of the federal government behind him, this may not be very difficult.
Truly, the Gore campaign is a criminal conspiracy in progress.
By publication time, things got even worse: We learned that the Gore campaign had launched a ten point program to disallow as many absentee ballots form American military people as possible. The majority of military votes are thought to be Republican, so the instructions to Democrat poll workers are to throw as many of them out as possible.
Our contacts from Capitol Hill and the military say that tempers are flaring over this out and out fraud against Americans in military service. Investigations are starting immediately, but we have no further information at this time. But, clearly, there are a lot of people busy deciding what immediate action can be taken.
The real fact is that this "Gore Problem" must be put to rest quickly. Which means that, if y'all don't get your copious butts out on the streets and start kicking up quite a stir right away, the country you will leave your children and grandchildren will be controlled by a consortium of socialists, communists and fascists.
See last week's edition for some easy protest suggestions.
REJECTING A WAYWARD MEDIA
Some days we actually wish we were running a newspaper over here. But, on those days, even that wouldn't even be good enough to get the news out when it changes as fast as it did last week. The problem is, quite obviously, something is missing from news reporting.
What is missing from today's news reporting is two important aspects of the news: Constitutional law and the view of most of the American people. That is, nothing that happens in politics or government is ever reported in relation to how the business of government should be performed according to the original intent of the authors of the Constitution. Nor are the views of most American citizens related in the news. Rather, the liberal views of the far east and far west coast newsrooms predominate. Even when news producers allow a conservative on a television show, the conservative's views always see to be countered by a mouthy liberal as in a "Crossfire" type
setting.
Worse, there is a binding relationship between the far-left political structure in the federal government and the national media that is both familiar and incestuous. This group, as a whole, works in unison to attack our conservative ideals -- the very same American ethics that worked to make our country the greatest nation in the world.
A few huge corporations are buying up all of the means of communication in this country. Today, they are even trying to make talk radio liberal again. Just last week, ABC and its parent corporation(s) attempted to fire the popular Matt Drudge from his two hour syndicated Sunday evening radio spot. It didn't work, of course, because individual stations voted to keep Drudge on and other networks are waiting in the wings to pick him up as soon as they have a chance. But, the point is that the ABC-Disney- whoever management wanted him off the air.
Local stations in my area are becoming more liberal every year. One station removed G. Gordon Liddy and actually replaced him with a very liberal TV weatherman. That same corporation holds the rights to the Michael Reagan show, but keeps it shelved in favor of a New York liberal.
Clearly, we need our own network of radio, television and newspapers. But, short of a multibillionaire coming forth, we shall not get it.
We all, however, have the opportunity to express our ideas freely on the Internet. Which, we might add, brings up a few logical ideas for a low cost system for the national distribution of information.
For instance, if Matt Drudge ever is bounced off radio, there is no reason he cannot start his own "network" on the Internet. That seems like a natural extension of his popular web page.
Taking that idea one step further, we would even suggest that Jim Robinson, the owner and operator of the popular Free Republic web site, start his own Internet radio show. A program of 15 minute news updates throughout the day -- archived for listening anytime -- would be a great start. One or two short advertising spots, perhaps flashed on the computer screen, would pay for the extra equipment and bandwidth needed. That could quickly become a "must listen" show for hundreds of thousands of conservatives and Constitutionalists around the country.
Therein lies the main point here: That news programming would be available to all people around the country, equally, all day every day. And, as a start-up venture, that would become nearly an instant hit.
There still are a few newspapers available worth reading, of course -- the Washington Times, the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post come to mind immediately. But, clearly, most newspapers are way too liberal for most people's taste. And, it shows. Newspaper publishers are suffering in the pocketbook. A massive transition away from them has begun. As soon as most people get fast Internet service, many liberal newspapers will go bankrupt. So will many television news shows.
Already, my new computer hooks directly to my television. Which means, as soon as we get a fast Internet connection, we will have the opportunity to watch whatever television programming is available on the Internet on our living room television. Many of us already listen to radio programs over the Internet.
Satellite dishes that will both upload and download from the Internet are now available. That will free us from the telephone lines and/or the cable television service. As soon as the cost of the new satellite service comes down -- within the next five years -- a whole new world of very fast communication will be open to all. Newspapers, and broadcast television, as we know them today, will generally be left behind. Any person will then be able to instantly publish newsletters and/or produce radio and TV programming. The world of instant
publication and instant program distribution will be available for anyone who wishes to do the work involved.
Today's Internet is somewhat analogous to the crystal set of the 1930s. It works, but leaves a bit to be desired. But, unlike the crystal set, it will only take the Internet a couple years to develop better tuning, a larger selection of programming, and real time video.
That will be the time when the liberals start to bite the dust. It appears that technology will be the downfall of liberalism in this country. The overly biased newsrooms will no longer have a lock on the nation's communications. Which means, they will no longer be able to badger us with their socialist-leaning ideas all day every day. Both they and their unconstitutional ideas will be rejected.
CALLING ALL TRIAL LAWYERS
All right trial lawyers, it's time to get to work. There are some very deep pockets out there that are ripe for the pick'en. Also, there are a couple hundred thousand Americans out here who have been harmed.
Truly, here's a lawsuit that will rival the tobacco scam in returns because the companies needing suing are much wealthier than the tobacco companies. I figure that fifty or a hundred of you around the country could easily realize a couple hundred million bucks each from this deal. You might be able to get your clients a couple hundred thousand bucks each, too.
There's a slight downside for trial lawyers, though. That is, you would have to swallow hard and forget your politics as long as this gig is going on. But, you can do that when the money is good. Right? Youbetcha!
The window of opportunity is open now. Actually, one group has already started, but they are thinking local rather than national. That won't bother anything for a big class action case and may actually even help.
The problem was in the way the Voter News Service and all of the television news networks reported the election. Rather than report actual vote counts as they came in, "projections" were reported. Therefore, a number of States were reported to be won by Gore long before the actual votes were counted. Worse yet, these "projections" were reported by all television news programs as fact even though there was no basis for truth.
They made it seem, therefore, that Gore had won the presidency early in the evening, even before hundreds of thousands of people in many time zones had even voted. This, of course, totally discouraged many conservative voters around the country, making them feel disenfranchised.
Clearly, there was a conspiracy -- a contracted agreement, anyway -- by all television news networks to disseminate the information provided by their agent, Voter News Service.
But, here's the deal: Every person on these news programs represents themselves to the public as a "journalist," which means that they have the responsibility for due diligence in checking their facts before broadcasting important information as fact to the general public. Otherwise, they would not call themselves "journalists" but something different -- common newsreaders, maybe.
Obviously, not one of these so called "journalists" bothered to check their facts before broadcasting them as hard news. In fact, they were often offering information that they must have known was, at least at that moment, incorrect.
The negligent actions of the television news networks and their agent, Voter News Service, caused people who would ordinarily vote to feel that their vote was useless and, hence, to not cast a vote in the presidential election.
The Committee for Honest Politics is suing for an Okaloosa County, Florida voter who did cast his ballot but contended its value was diminished by the networks' projection. Another lawsuit was filed on behalf of Bay County voters in Panama City. Other actions are under consideration.
We believe all disenfranchised voters in various States west of the Eastern time zone have cause for action against the television news networks and the Voter News Service. There seems to be very good cause to file a complaint against all networks and stations involved. Some should lose their licenses.
The Thursday after the election, Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-FL) told WABC radio's Sean Hannity that one man complained to him about the news shows calling Florida early for Gore, even when some of the Florida polls were still open. Scarborough was upset, "because he and, from what we're hearing, up to ten thousand voters in Northwest Florida walked away from the ballot box when ABC, NBC, CBS called Florida for Gore before our voting booths closed."
Rep. Scarborough also added that two poll workers reported that long voter lines started to disappear as soon as Florida was called for Gore. Meaning, the Congressman has at least two actual -- and official -- eyewitness accounts of the damage to the Bush campaign caused by the VNS's publication of early unscrupulously fabricated "projections."
Many such reports have been received from other areas of the country. This means that there were quite a number of voters harmed (discouraged) by the negligently false news reports.
So there you go, trial lawyers. Lots of people were harmed and the perpetrators have very deep pockets. Many will say that the media has freedom of speech and that political speech is the most protected speech of all.
However, it seems to us that no group has a right to represent themselves as an unbiased and correct news source and then use their position to intentionally disseminate false information that adversely affects a national election.
As I remember, you in the law have a series of fancy words for things like that. And, proving even one of those words would be enough to win big damage awards in court. So, go for it.
STARTING FIVE YEARS AND COUNTING
This issue ends four continuous years of publication for this newsletter. All I've got to say about that is: Whew! That's a lot of writing. Well over a million words, just for the newsletter.
This is also the last time the "Heads Up" title will appear on the newsletter. From now on, it will be simply the "Fiedor Report on the News."
One little task I must do every so often is the housekeeping directed by a legal eagle. I am to disclose ownership and finances for this newsletter, I'm told. That's easy:
This newsletter is not exactly owned by anyone because there is really nothing physical to own. By that I mean that it has no office, has no finances, offers nothing for sale, and hence makes no profit. We print no hardcopies, therefore, we use no supplies.
We have nothing to offer here except ideas -- our viewpoint on the facts moving the news. I do not expect that readers will agree with everything I write. And that is as it should be. My intent -- my only reason for writing -- is to offer a Constitutional perspective on current events not found anywhere in the major media.
Still today, we get some criticism from liberal journalists, members of a number of far-left "Non- Governmental Organizations," and a couple bureaucrats at the United Nations. But, because I'm seen as trying to disassemble their cushy nests, one twig at a time, that can be expected. Another problem is that leftist liberals are used to having normal people suck-up to them. When they call here and get brash with me, I'll as often as not tell them to shove their socialist ideals someplace that's inconvenient -- and most probably physiologically impossible.
Some have written to demand I publish their side of the story, too. Yeah, they're brash, these socialist activists. They would love me to give them a forum with which to contradict this newsletter. I tell them that they already have such a forum. We call it the national media.
Whatever success this little newsletter has had is due directly to the readers. As some long-term readers may remember, I was censored a few years back because I wrote about the UN's plan to tax American citizens and the UN operation of biosphere reserves within the United States. Those articles elicited letters of complaint from international lawyers, law professors and a very strange array of one world government bureaucrats from around the world. Their intention was to cause the people distributing my writing quite a lot of problems. As it turned out, I was exactly correct in what I wrote. But that didn't help much at the time.
Today, the newsletter cannot be censored. Unlike other publications, this newsletter is in the unique position of being distributed by the readers -- a whole lot of readers. And for that, I thank you all.
We also thank Forest in California who posts the newsletter, and all back issues, on his web site. One only need look there once to see how much work that is.
Subscriptions are still free to all who ask.
All I ask of those who subscribe directly from me is that they pass it on to friends in its entirety and with no
changes.
Last week I received over 350 replies. I read every one almost as soon as it arrived. Some did not get
answered yet, but I'm trying.
I'm about due for a vacation, but I guess I'll wait until this election mess has ended and the politics of the country slows down a bit. Hopefully, that will be soon.
