Patriot jailed on perjury, hearsay, manufactured charges

Mark Marchiafava, a Patriot in Baton Rouge Louisiana, is the latest political prisoner who needs assistance. Mark is best known for his role in getting Social Security numbers off driver's licenses in Louisiana as well as his most recent and successful efforts to keep fingerprints off of driver's licenses in the state.
Mark has relentlessly pursued justice and freedom - the freedom that has now commanded a high price of him.
Mark, his wife, his daughter and other employees were at Mark's place of business 25 days ago when the parking lot was stormed by a dozen or more heavily armed, ninja-suited (complete with face masks) "law enforcement officers" who grabbed Mark and wrestled him to the ground, re-igniting an old jaw injury. These individuals presented no warrant and refused to tell Mark who they were as they hustled him off. They had "their man", but this wasn't enough. They stormed his place of business and pointed guns at a half-dozen or so women in the building, one of them in the bathroom at the time, and, still without identifying themselves or showing any sort of warrant, ordered them against the wall, faces to the wall, with guns pointed at all of them.
Mark was escorted away from the scene as he saw automatic weapons pointed at his wife and daughter. These people took Mark to the Coroner's office where the coroner asked Mark if he knew why he was there. Mark replied that he didn't, but that he had been asking. The Coroner said that Mark had threatened to kill 250 public officials, buy property in Mississippi, dig a hole and bury them in it. Mark denied making such comments, and to this date no proof of such comment has been offered, nor has any person taken the stand
to testify that they had heard these comments.
However, it should be noted that in sham hearings, sworn law enforcement officers took the stand, over Mark's attorney's objections, and offered unsubstantiated hearsay that he had made such statements. Hizzoner overruled the objections and allowed open hearsay to stand as testimony.
Media has run from this story except for one radio station, WJBO, which should receive faxes and calls to thank them for their support.

Mark Marchiafava is a man whom I proudly consider a friend. I have known Mark for many years; my first knowledge of him was from a letter which he wrote to a Baton Rouge, Louisiana newspaper, extolling the Bill of Rights and pointing out some of the obvious ways that government is violating our rights.
Mark is a relentless campaigner for honest government, for government which abides strictly by their employment contract-- the Constitution. With his own funds, he has battled in the courts and in the court of public opinion on many issues, and has won an astounding victory-- he brought and won a lawsuit against Louisiana, halting the mandatory inclusion of social security numbers on drivers' licenses. This the first such successful suit of my knowledge. It was fought on grounds of religious principle, and is a precedent-setting case. It is a primary reason for this lawless harassment of Mark. His recent activities have halted a state plan to place fingerprints on drivers' licenses. It is most likely that this was the event which actually triggered the warrantless SWAT raid on his business, and his
confinement in a mental institution-- that's right, a SWAT raid, and a
mental institution, where he is being held on the strength of perjury and hearsay.
This harassment is not an isolated event. While his suit was being
contested, the state refused to issue Mark a license, and he was regularly harassed by the police. After the suit was won, Louisiana maintained a fraudulent resistance to the order of the court, extending the time that Mark could be harassed. Of course, since an unconstitutional law is never valid, Louisiana was acting lawlessly in their course of action.
I have further reason to support Mark. He made a t-shirt for me which I wore for the cover photo of Media Bypass in the wake of the Good O'Boy Roundup-- ABOLISH THE ATF. In the recent past I was jailed, the result of an unwarranted SWAT assault on my home. While I was jailed, Mark maintained regular communication with me, sending stamps and such necessities to insure my ability to maintain contact with the rest of the world. Friends such as this are rare and valuable; therefore, I humbly ask that you support Mark in any way that you can. Mark's address is not certain at this time, but will be posted as soon as it is firm. Meanwhile, contact the sheriff of East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, or the Governor of Louisiana about this case,
letting them know that people everywhere are aware of and watching the developments. Further, one local radio station-- WJBO-- has covered these events, and they deserve much thanks for covering this politically dangerous situation-- a note of thanks to them would be most appropriate.
