in a dedicated effort to solve the serious problems facing this nation.
The solutions are simple."
The following solutions and expected results will be presented:
1. Lower the taxes over 50 percent in one year, 80 percent in 3 years.
2. Lower the cost of living over 50 percent in one year, 80 percent in 3 years.
3. Greatly increase business and jobs.
4. Eliminate interest rates.
5. Stabilize the economy and cost of living.
6. Make plenty of money available for all reasonable needs.
7. Reduce the national debt by about 1/3 in one month.
8. Erase all of the national debt in about 3 years.
9. Create a healthy, vibrant economy in about 3 years.
10. Present Congress the opportunity to elevate each Congress Person to the level of the first Constitutional Congress, where they will remain in high esteem in history forever.

1. Money Is Unreal: Blowing the Whistle on the Federal Reserve System, will by presented by Mr. Durland in an allotted, four days.
2. Forest Durland must control the agenda during his entire presentation, including answer sessions.
3. Each of four days will consist of ten hours of presentation, not counting breaks.
4. Forest Durland will choose people to speak for him at his discretion.
5. No one, including Congress, President and Vice-President, can interrupt. Interruption breaks the thought pattern. Each five minutes of interruption will award one additional hour on an additional day, more consecutive days if needed.
6. Congress must control members who do not honor this agreement, removing them if necessary.
7. Forest Durland will remain after the agreed time, if requested, to explain details and answer questions. Topics and discussion must relate to Forest Durland’s presentation and will be controlled by Forest Durland. Congress must present questions, not oratory, limited to five minutes each, not transferrable. Congress Persons can present their own views on their own time.
8. Congress must agree to exert a sincere effort to prevent the President and Vice President from interrupting Mr. Durland’s presentation. With a press conference the Executive Branch could easily divert the attention of the Congress and the media. Each interruption from the Executive Branch will add time on the additional day.
9. Congress must insist that the mainstream media carry this reading. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting can certainly be expected to broadcast all of Mr. Durland's presentation. It is essential that all people hear all of Mr. Durland's presention live and unedited. The mainstream media are definetely controlled.
The solutions presented are simple, reasonable and well documented. History attests to their success. Rather than simply complain as so many do, Forest Glen Durland has worked out solutions. A family man with his head on his shoulders and his feet on the ground, his main goal in life is to save this country for his children and grandchildren so they will have a country to live in. In its best interests, Congress must consider such a simple solution to delete the national debt and lower federal taxes.
To the American People:
I am asking you to help save this country for our children and grandchildren by doing two simple things:
1. Call and write both your Senator and Congress Person in the House of Representatives. They have a local office. Politely demand that Congress create money instead of borrowing it. That will stop the national debt dead in its tracks before it ever starts and nearly eliminate taxes!

If you have asked for a laser copy of this page, called U-Mail, please make as many copies of this letter as you need to mail them to everyone you can think of. It is copyrighted, so you can not change it and can not sell it. But you have my permission to make as many copies of this entire letter intact as you need for reasonable distribution. If all of us pitch in and help with the mailing, by working together we can reach all of America soon. And, it will be necessary for each and all of us to get out and vote.
If we all join in the effort, we will get the attention of Congress, and they will wake up to the insane national debt. Keep in mind: Congress does not act. Congress reacts. Speak up, you guys!

Congress Must NEVER Overspend
The sensible solution offered by Forest Glen Durland to our messy economic problem necessitates an entirely new concept of finance and taxes. The first new concept is in the method of financing our government. Under the DFMS (Debt Free Monetary System), when Congress needs money, it will simply order it issued by the U. S. Treasury Department, debt free. Second is the new concept of taxes, demanding a reversal of traditional thought. Instead of being levied to finance legislation, taxes will be meted to drain off excess money from the economy to avoid over heating. Thus collected, tax revenues must be sent back to the nothing from whence they came. Taxes must be low and few, and they must never be spent by Congress. This will be unthinkable by today’s average politician. Nonetheless, this is the way of debt free money in an economy using a DFMS (Debt Free Monetary System).
To extract money from the economy when too much money is present,
causing problems.
And, there should be only one cause for the tax:
The result of non-productive spending by Congress, which has two parts:
1. Necessary. Expenses for government operation such as government workers, buildings, and military.
2. Foolish. The result of non-productive spending by Congress, such as pork and starting wars.
Concerning item one, we must pay anyone we hire. We hire politicians and all other government workers to do a job for us. Therefore, they are non-productive and must be paid by taxes. Therefore, even though Congress creates the money for government expenses, that money will eventually overheat the economy and cause a tax to kick in to drain it out. Government payroll means taxes. There is no escape. However, a big benefit under a DFMS will be the absence of interest. At least we will not have to pay some private banker for the money, finally.
As to item two, any time Congress orders money for a bill that is not productive, it will eventually appear as taxes. Any and all pork must be considered as automatic taxes on all people in all fifty states. There will be no need to levy taxes in advance to pay for politicians’ ways of helping people by helping them out of their money. Nevertheless, if it is pork, we will pay eventually when the economy overheats and the drain tax kicks in. Beware!
But for productive purposes, taxes should be less. When Congress needs money, it simply orders the U.S. Treasury Department to issue it, debt free. Presto, there it is. It is really that simple. And it works if it is backed and controlled as specified by the MEL formula. And it will be debt free, meaning that we won’t get stuck with interest to some private banker.
Please note: The big, new issue here is that politicians must never spend those tax receipts! Those taxes are meant to drain excess money out of the economy to prevent overheating, and that money must be sent back to the nothing from whence it came. The banking industry calls it "extinguishing". That will be a new way of living for Congress.
Think how easy it will be for us taxpayers to see where our tax dollars are going.

A very welcome essay called School explains how we can finance our public schools and public libraries while lowering all taxes. The trick is to oust the private bank owners and freeloaders. Then, when more money is needed in our economy, spend it on the schools. Note that new money must be SPENT into the economy -- not given away as pork.
I believe that the new Congress is filled with good people, and that their majority will see through the corruption of the Federal Reserve System. When I speak of Congress, I do not speak of any one Congress Person, but, rather, of eighty years of Congress. I report what I see out here where we people are poor. Unfortunately, so many corrupt things have slipped by Congress that America is not proud of its leadership. The good majority of Congress must stand and vote down corruption, especially within its ranks. A reputation must be earned and Money Is Unreal offers Congress that chance. In simple language, the worst of all corruption is revealed and the only sensible solution is offered. All Congress needs to do is do it.
Do that, Congress, and America will respect you highly. I do hope you will share this responsibility with me.
